CINCINNATI (BDCi) – The company behind the Food Network has announced that a Brazilian version of the channel will premiere later this month via the satellite TV service provider, Sky Brazil.
Scripps Networks Interactive, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, will offer a mix of global programming, like Chopped and Throwdown with Bobby Flay, as well as local originals.
The first two key productions for Food Network in Brazil will be Menu da Semana (Menu of the Week) and ICKFD – I Could Kill for Dessert.
Menu da Semana will feature actresses Juliana Araripe and Camila Raffanti interviewing chefs and restaurateurs about local food and events.
ICKFD will focus on sweets and cocktails, hosted by YouTube star and pastry chef Danielle Noce.
Among the other popular global hits set to air in Brazil are Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell.
