LOS ANGELES (BDCi) – Celebrating seven years and beginning Sunday, September 14, the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival or LABRFF will open with a Night Gala at the Academy Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood.
The festival will screen over 30 films, showcasing only the very best from today’s Brazilian cinema.
The film “The Great Victory” will premiere at the Opening Night Gala on September 14, where acclaimed Moacyr Franco will be honored in a ceremony.
One of the major highlights of the 7th Annual LABRFF is the documentary “City of God: 10 Years After,” which focuses on the 2002 film’s positive and negative impacts.
The festival closes on Friday, September 19 with Emerson Muzeli’s film “Forever Nevermore.”
