Glamour, Fashion and Style at the 5th LABRFF
LOS ANGELES, CA (BDCi) — Hello Fashionistas! We are in the middle of a very special week for the Brazilian community abroad as we celebrate Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival’s 5th anniversary.
It’s a week to support and honor the Brazilian cinema by checking out the great movies, documentaries, the fashion and glamour the festival has to offer for next five days.
The festival started this past Sunday, July 15, with a wonderful gala night, and goes till Thursday, July 19. And I was there to gather the fashion highlights for you!
The event had a very special gala night, which included lots of fashion and celebrities’ guests that were dressed to impress. In my opinion was one of the most beautiful red carpet ever seen in Hollywood before.
“It was without a doubt a night to remember”, says Meire Fernandes, Co- founder of the festival. “Everybody was so well dressed and looking beautiful, that just made the event much more glamorous and special. We were at one of the Academy Theaters, so, we had to be dressed elegantly”, she added.
Yes indeed! I was present and I agree with all her words. I was honored to be part of the organization for the event, with that said I made sure that everyone respected our dress code, which as plain and simple: “DRESS TO IMPRESS”.
From simple to fancy gowns, the red carpet was taken over by the Brazilian flavor and some special trends.
Colors such as black, beige, red, gold, white and yellow were very predominant.
The lead actress for “Open Road”, Brazilian-Hollywood star, Camilla Belle, was one of best dressed of the night. She was wearing Alexander McQueen, and looked absolutely STUNNING in her two piece outfit!
