Gas prices in SoCal soar 15 cents in one week
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (BDCi) – Summer is almost here and you know what that means, gas prices are way up in Southern California.
Gas prices have shot up almost 15 cents per gallon in just the past week.
The increase is being driven by record low gasoline inventories along with refinery issues, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.
Monday marks the fifth consecutive day that gas prices have gone up in Los Angeles County.
The average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gas is now $4.386 in Los Angeles.
That’s 15.4 cents more than a week ago, 11.4 cents more than a month ago and 14 cents higher than one year ago, according to AAA.
