Viver Brasil in Intersections/Ajê — Los Angeles and Salvador, Bahia intersect with an evening of jubilant Afro-Brazilian dance, exuberant sambas, forrós, and exotic orixá tales of love and intrigue. The company premieres new choreography in vivid costumes, vocalists become part of the action, and musicians take polyrhythms to new heights.
