Two dozen students arrested in drug ring
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (BDCi) – Two dozen Riverside County high school student accused of selling illegal drugs on campus were arrested on Thursday.
The students were taken into custody by sheriff’s deputies at Vista De Lago High School in Moreno Valley and Elsinore High School in Wildomar, authorities said.
During the investigation, deputies seized marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, Ecstasy and prescription drugs.
Seven of the students who were taken into custody were allegedly carrying switchblade knives, marijuana, cocaine, Ecstasy or hydrocodone.
All students were taken to Juvenile Hall in Riverside.
