Time Warner makes deal with Lakers
L.A. (BDCi) – This past Sunday (7) marked the Lakers’ first exhibition game, but many fans were disappointed when they learned that they unable to view the match at home.

However, they were also shocked to discover that several L.A. sports bars were not showing the event at all.

The people and bars who missed the match-up, played against the Golden State Warriors, are Time Warner Cable subscribers. and they are not happy about it.

After a $3 billion deal, the Lakers have teamed up with the cable company, who hopes to charge other providers $3.95 a customer for broadcasting Laker games on their network.

Some providers, such as DirecTV and Verzion FiOS, are waiting for better deals.
