Ronaldinho leaves & sues Flamengo
SAO PAULO (BDCi) – Ronaldinho’s time on Brazil’s most popular club has come to an end after deciding to sue Flamengo for a reported $20 million for unpaid salaries and delayed payments.
A judge ruled in favor of Ronaldinho’s request to have his contract terminated.
In a statement, the club said he left the team after “missing practice for four days” and that he was suing for an “alleged debt.”
Ronaldinho joined Flamengo in 2011.
