TOPANGA (BDCi) – Label27 presents the 5th Annual Reggae on the Mountain event, featuring performances by Julian Marley, Black Uhuru, Reggae Motion, Brazilian Reggae band Jahgun and more.
Based in Los Angeles, Reggae Motion was formed in 2003 and aims to promote positivity and consciousness via their music, a unique mixture of reggae-influenced sounds.
The band’s lyrics are in both English and Portuguese and they combine old reggae flavor with a modern twist stemming from the members’ cultural and musical diversity.
Reggae on the Mountain will be held August 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Topanga Community Club at 1440 N. Topanga Cyn. Blvd., 90230.
