Places to watch Fireworks in L.A.
LOS ANGELES (BDCi) – The 4th of July is celebrated all over the country and fireworks are still the favorite way to celebrate this patriotic holiday.
Whether in a public place or in the backyard, fireworks can be fun to watch, but can also be very dangerous. According to the L.A. Fire Department, the safest way to prevent accidents is to go to a fireworks show.
Several cities throughout Southern California are hosting fireworks displays.
Authorities want to remind residents about Los Angeles County’s “safe and sane” fireworks ban.
There will be no fireworks display this year in Marina del Rey, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors. Budget “curtailments” were blamed.
LAPD also reminds you, don`t drink and drive.
