Gas prices are on their way down
L.A. (BDCi) – The average price of gas all across the U.S. has fallen by more than eight cents during the past two weeks, relieving some of the recent shortages at the pump.
Per gallon of regular gasoline, the current average is just over $3.75.
California’s average has dropped about three cents since October 5th.
To combat the sudden spike in prices, California waived seasonal regulations and allowed refineries to increase production of the cheaper winter-blend gasoline.
Experts believe that the national average could have decreased much more were it not for California’s “smaller decline.”
Tulsa, Oklahoma has the cheapest average price right now at $3.26 and San Francisco has the highest at $4.51.
