Fresh & Easy baby spinach recall
LOS ANGELES, CA (BDCi) –Fresh & Easy Markets is voluntarily recalling their fresh Organic Baby Spinach after a bag of this product tested positive for Listeria.
Listeria is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and others with weakened immune systems.
There have been no illnesses reported but the company decided to recall the spinach as a precaution. The recalled fresh Organic Baby Spinach has an “enjoy by” date of August 1, sold in Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market stores in California, Nevada and Arizona.
