Free transportation in the City of Commerce

Free transportation in the City of Commerce
COMMERCE, CA (BDCi)- The city of commerce will be providing free transportation during the holidays.

Residents who want to shop at the Citadel Mall or visit Commerce Casino will have the opportunity to enjoy the free ride. Commerce has offered free transportation for the past 52 years, with this year extending the route from Downtown Los Angeles.

MTA provided two buses that will pick up customers from Union Station in Los Angeles, making several stops in Commerce.

According to La Opinion, the mayor of Commerce, Lilia R. León, said that the services provided will allow residents from Down Town Los Angeles and those living in the west side to come and shop at the outlets for the holiday season.

With this new line holiday shoppers will have the option of shopping in 130 different stores at the outlet.

Leon also added that they hope the free transportation will bring financial earnings to the city since millions of visitors and residents will be able to shop at the outlets.

The line will function from 10:20 a.m. to 9:20 p.m., seven days a week.

The free services are made possible by MTA, the city of Commerce, Citadel Outlets and Commerce Casino

They also hope to expand its services to the Orange County to be able to offer the variety of the city to residents outside the Los Angeles Area.
