Brazilian Spotlight: 15th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Celebrated as one of the leading film festivals in the United States, the Newport Beach Film Festival has evolved into a prestigious multicultural event, attracting over 53,000 attendees to Southern California. The event always reserve a night for the Brazilian Culture, which this year will be represented by the movie The Invisible Collection (A Coleção Invisível) as the 2014 Brazilian Spotlight film.

The 15th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival will bring to southern California the best in world cinema. Over 300 films from 50 countries will screen during the 8 days. It runs April 24th- May 1st, 2014 and will spotlight over 300 films from around the world.

A Brazilian gala party, will be immediately following the screening of “The Invisible Colletion”, and it will take place on Wednesday April 30th at 7:45 at the Big Newport Theater located at 300 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach CA, 92660. The post-screening gala will feature DJs, live entertainment, Tito’s Vodka, and Stella’s Artois Beer. Several major restaurants will be sampling their signature dishes.
