SÃO PAULO (BDCi) – No one expected Germany’s incredible victory over host team Brazil on Tuesday (8) at the Mineirão Stadium, and the country as a whole is definitely showing it.
The loss caused random acts of vandalism to occur across São Paulo and other parts of Brazil.
Some of the acts of aggression included the burning of Brazilian flags, and police were called to a popular area to break up a fight between Argentinean and Brazilian fans.
With all of this is mind, some experts are predicting that anti-Rousseff protests could start up again, and affect her campaign.
Brazilians have been publicly outraged since the nation and President Dilma Rousseff decided to spend billions on hosting the 2014 World Cup.
The presidential elections will be held on October 3rd.
