Newport Beach, CA (BDCi Sports) — It is Beach Volleyball season again and AVP – the nation’s premier beach volleyball tour will officially kick off the 2017 season in the beautiful golden state.
Huntington Beach is the chosen city, so gather your beach attire and add to your schedule before you forget. Beach volleyball fans are once again making a pilgrimage to the sand. The tour had a record attendance last year and from May 4-7 2017 the sands of the famous “surf city” will be taken over by the greatest athletes in the sport.

This event will feature the most respected names in the sport including AVP stars and Olympians Phil Dalhausser, April Ross, Xi Zhang, Jake Gibb, among others.
The eight-stop tour will run from May through September 2017 with additional stops in New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Chicago.
Hermosa Beach will make its way back to the tour for the first time since 2010, and Austin in Texas also returns as a venue for the first time since 2005.
