Animal print on everything

Animal print on everything

LOS ANGELES, CA (BDCi) Hello, Fashionistas! So far I have been having an amazing week. I added a couple of amazing pieces to my closet while doing my Christmas shopping, and guess which pieces I got?  ANIMAL PRINT PATTERNS of course. I acquired not only one, but many pieces: shirts, an incredible vintage blazer and even a pair of leopard inspired pants.

I’m a true fashionista but never thought I would embrace leopard pants. I always felt that they were over the top.

Here is the truth about animal print fashion. The trend started showing up during the spring but wasn’t very strong.  Since the look is no longer considered cheesy, it’s actually really IN right now and very easy to assemble into a look.

Check out the photos I selected to share.

I visited many stores this past week and realized how powerfully trendy animal prints are at the moment. Ladies, if you are on a budget, my favorite stores to recommend are: H&M, Forever 21, Zara, Express, BeBe and Marshalls, all of which are full of different animal print styles, colors and cuts.  I’m sure you will go crazy trying to choose your favorite pieces just like I did while doing my shopping.

The good news is that this trend is not only strong in clothing, but also in shoes, bags and accessories. By the way, if you love the latter items more than clothing, it’s your lucky season. Be ready to do some spending. Like I said in the title of this article: it’s animal print on everything.

So far, this fall has been definitely full of surprises, and this print “fever” is definitely one of them. My advice: don’t be afraid that the trend will go away soon. Winter is right around the corner, and the animal print demand definitely has staying power.

Quick how-to-use tip: Use your imagination while getting dressed. Mix the print with solid colors. If you go with the print on bottom, go solid on top, or go with solid color in your whole outfit and add an animal print pair of shoes and purse, or just one of them.

Usually this rule works really well for most women. But in the end, it’s really up to you.

Remember: If you go print on the bottom and top, you may be taking a huge risk, and you probably will look very tacky.

So, go shopping and be ready to spice things up with your new feline look.

And as always: You may want to do a little research online and see the options out there before leaving home.

See you guys next week with more FASHION TIPS!
