RIO DE JANEIRO (BDCi) – Adidas announced the release of the Brazuca Final Rio official match ball to be used for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The ball will be used in the final match of the Cup, which takes place on Sunday July 13 at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.
The green and gold colors of the ball were specially created to reflect the FIFA World Cup™ trophy and is a variation of the brazuca Official Match Ball launched in December 2013.
Some of the upgrades to the ball’s design include improved touch, grip, stability and aerodynamics.
Adidas has incorporated the brazuca ball into the “all in or nothing” campaigned and even created a Twitter account for it (@brazuca).
The original brazuca already has more than 131,000 followers and has traveled to meet international icons from Samuel L. Jackson to Pope Francis (at the Vatican City).
