Police searching for two escaped prisoners in Hollywood LOS ANGELES, CA (BDCi) — Residents are being warned after two prisoners escaped Friday while clearing brush in the Hollywood Hills. Police say there are no signs of these two men but are still searching for them. Officials suspect the two escaped prisoners have been picked up by someone but may still be within the local area. The prisoners were reported missing since Friday about 2 p.m. in the 8400 block of Mulholland Drive, snuggled between Studio City and West Hollywood Hills.
According to Officer Sara Fadden of the LAPD, The fugitives were part of an inmate fire crew with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Fadden says one prisoner is described as a 19-year-old male Latino, 126 pounds and 5 feet, 4 inches tall. He has shoulder-length curly hair and was wearing a khaki long-sleeve shirt and shorts, possibly green in color, Fadden said. The second inmate is described as a male Latino, about 19 years old and at least 6 feet tall, with black hair.
