LOS ANGELES – Aconteceu nessa última quarta-feira a premiação do PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2014 no Nokia Theater em Los Angeles. A cerimonia foi transmitida ao vivo pelo canal local CBS. Os ganhadores foram escolhidos pelos mais de 700 milhões de fãs do evento.
A atiz Americana Sandra Bullock levou pra casa 4 prêmios , incluindo o de melhor atriz. O filme “Iron Man 3” levou o prêmio de melhor filme e melhor filme de ação. O cantor Justin Timberlake foi escolhido o artista favorito do ano, melhor artista de R&B e também de levou o prêmio de melhor album.
A comediante e apresentadora Ellen DeGeneres foi escolhida a melhor apresentadora de TV. DeGeneres se tornou a celebridade que mais acumulou trófeus do PEOPLE’s CHOICE AWARDS na história do evento com 14 estatuetas de cristal.
O show The Big Bang Theory levou o prêmio de melhor comédia da TV, e a atriz Kaley Cuoco asseguroi o trófeu de melhor atriz comediante da TV.
A noite contou com apresentações de Sara Bareilles com a música “Brave” , One Republic com “Counting Star” e Brad Praisley cantando “The Mona Lisa”
